Exemestane and high blood pressure

Hi

I’m wondering if anyone else has developed high blood pressure whilst taking Exemestane? Ive never had any BP issues, the last check in April it was perfectly normal. Then last month whilst on holiday I had a BP crisis which has led to me having a 24 hour BP monitor test done (14 hours to go!) There’s information online about developing HBP as a side effect of taking aromatase inhibitors but it’s all American, there’s no info on uk websites. Im not due to see oncology until the end of the year so I just wondered if anyone else had experienced this as a side effect?

Hi. I have been taking Anastrozole for 2 + years and developed very high blood pressure. Have never had HBP before this. Like you the literature on this problem seems to be American and my GP was quite dismissive originally. Came off it for 4 months and blood pressure normalised. Tried to go back on it and within 2 months very high blood pressure again.
