Exemestane, Letrozole or Anastrozole?

Hi.
I’ve been on Letrozole for nearly 7 months and had 3 different brands which haven’t helped at all. Each company that makes it adds different things into it apparently I’ve heard, so some brands cause less side effects than others. The joint pain and fatigue have been getting worse and worse to the point that walking is difficult because of the pain in my knees, although the flushes are getting less and more manageable.
I spoke to the oncologist and we agreed for me to stay on it until December then if things don’t improve to have a Letrozole holiday for a month. After that we can decide if I’m changing to another AI. I’m so looking forward to speaking to him next week.
I hope you have a better time with it. x

Exemestane was the best option for me, I couldn’t have the other blockers as I’m lactose intolerant. I believe the Exemestane isn’t usually given to those who aren’t postmenopausal.
I was issued with Aromatin, manufactured by Phizer which suits my body better than the cheaper brand my GP initially swapped me onto.
