Hi there,
Does anyone have experience of breast cancer care in Exeter? We’re thinking of moving there shortly and it would be really helpful to know if Exeter has good services/
Any advice is much appreciated.
Thanks!
Already answered on your other thread!
YES, YES, YES, I moved to Devon 4 years ago and was diagnosed last October. If it wasn’t for the attention, care and thoroughness of the staff at Exeter RD&E I would be finding it all much harder. Having your own dedicated breast care nurse is a real bonus. Would be happy to talk more about moving here if it helps. x
Hi
We moved to Devon 4 years ago and was diagnosed Oct 08. Had chemo at North Devon and rads in Exeter and they are great, the oncology unit at RD&E is lovely (well as lovely as onc units can get I suppose!) and oncs are all very good, friends have been treated for chemo at Exeter and all agree, no probs. They also have a great cancer support centre just off site called The Force Centre and I cant praise the people in there highly enough, you can go in for massage, look good feel good sessions etc and they offer loads of advice for any aspects of how cancer affects your life. Good luck, just shout if you have any other q’s.
