Hi there I often visit this site but as to date havent really contributed much in the way of encouragement and advice but i really do appreciate the way that everyone else does
I would certainly appreciate any advice that i can get at this time
I had a reccurance in 2005 this was followed by a mastectomy I was supposed to start Taxatore and then Herceptin but unfortunely i reacted to the taxatore and we decided to go for Herceptin alone i finished the herceptin in Dec2006.
A few weeks ago i noticed my vision in my left eye wasnt what it should be and went to the optician She was concerned and sent me to an eye specialist who i saw on Mon He thinks it is related to the breast cancer and is making arrangements for me to see the oncologist for further tests to see if there is any other spreads
Has anyone heard of a spread to the eyes
what tests should i insist on
what treatment is available
Any advice would be appreciated

Hi Ella,
I think there have been a couple of members on here who have had spread to eyes, and I believe successfully treated. One of them is WANAS so if you do a search on her posts you will find what she has to say. I am sure when they see your post others will respond who have knowledge of this.
