Eyebrows !!! Help

I was wondering if anyone out there has had problems with getting their eyebrows back. I have finished Chemo a year and a half now and only have a fraction of the eybrow hair I used to have. I never plucked my eyebrows before so i can’t understand why thats the only thing that has not come back.

I know it is only trivial but it is making a difference with me getting on with my life! I still feel like i look ill when i look in the mirror. Has anyone out there had there eyebrows come back fully but taken longer than 1 1/2 years for it to come back.???

I had 4fec and 4 tax last year - eyebrows were fine through the fec I was still having to pluck, then on the taxotere they really did thin and I started to fill in the gaps, they have grown a little so I dont use the pencil any longer but are very thin and fine and nothing compared to what they were. nails are also naff, but having to pay for legs and bikini line waxing for a while now.
lashes haven’t fully recovered either.

I had the same chemo, mine survived through the fec and also fell out with the taxotere ( damm stuff) !

I finished my chemo in May 06 and they are not really back! When did you finish chemo??

Have you heard from anyone that they might still come back?

My chemo finished in June06. Same chemo as debsy. Eyebrows were last to go - and last to return (still only about 10% what they once were). Someone said eyebrows are slow growing, that’s why they are so resilient to chemo. But after a year or more you’d expect them back wouldn’t you? I can’t decide if mine are really growing or not - if they are then its going to take ten years at the current rate! My eyebrows were very dark in relation to my hair, so I don’t much mind either way, especially as I wear glasses and have now acquired a manic fringe. Eyelashes have recovered 90% I would say - I don’t really expect any more improvement there.

Will be interested to hear if anyone else reports eyebrows can make a late return.

Same chemo regime, but longer cycles,
6 x FEC 8 x Tax

finished July 06,
lost eybrows and lashes during tax, as you say last ot go.

Eyelashes back though quite short, were quite long before.
Eyebrows still very sparse.
Today I had both my lashes and eyebrows tinted, I have a lot of downy type hairs in place of eyebrows. It has worked a treat, i’m really pleased, hopefully won’t have to get the eyepencil out for a few weeks.
