Hi,
I wanted to see if there was anybody who could help me, I am 34 and I had breast cancer nearly 4 yrs ago after having my son, since then i have had several reconstructive and corrective operations, since my last operation and over the past 6 months i have had a hole in my breast that has been discharging daily.
i have seen numerous doctor/surgeons (as my surgeon is never available) and each give me different opinions and options, i was lead to believe until today that i would be having the fat nacrosis removed and at the same time reconstruction via latissimus dorsi which was booked for this friday. today i finally saw the surgeon and now the above approach will not be happening in 1 operation. In addition i have now found out i have had fat nacrosis for the past 2 years which would explain why i have had a painfull rock hard breast for soo long even though i was told this was normal and over time will soften, i have no idea whats happening or what to do, as i can wait yet another 6 months for it to heal by itself or have it removed which will be most of my breast and then have to wait for yet another operation to reconstruct again, its been a long 4 years and just want to put it all behind me and my family…
This is why i need your help has anybody been through this if so any advise would be great…
