Has anyone had this diagnosed with imaging alone?
hi sommer, yes, in february i had a app with my surgeon ten months after my surgery. she wasnt entirely happy with my scar area after examining it. sent me for a mammo and ultrasound(would have had to wait til may for my first one after treatment)consultant told me ther and then he was happy it was fat necrosis and he would see me in a year. hope that helps. alex xx

Thank you for that, I was under the impression that it had to be confirmed with a biopsy, as it can mimic cancer.
I had surgery in March and that’s the trauma, which has caused this. Here was me thinking that all would be well after surgery, and now we have another problem…
