feeling better

feeling better Hi all

I just wanted to write with a positive posting for once. Some of you may remember my posts about shoulder pain and having to fight for a bone scan. This eventually came back clear and again after some pushing I was referred for physio.

After just 2 sessions she has done wonders. The pain is greatly lessened and my mobility on my affected side is soooo much better and improving daily.

Physio says my probs are linked to node clearance and nerve damage, plus crappy exercises given by onc dept after my 2 lots of surgery.

Since starting my physio I have noticed that I am getting tingling feelings in my hand and am hoping it will pass. Have been told to keep an eye on this and report back next wk but seems linked to a particular exercise that I don’t want to stop as it has really helped with the shoulder pain. Oh yes and it’s actually my neck that’s at fault, not my shoulder (referred pain apparently)

Anyway. Just to say to you folks out there who have been worried about shoulder pain, it isn’t always a sinister outcome.

Good luck to you all.

Irene

Good on you Hi Irene

Well done for pushing for help and getting it. I am glad your shoulder pain was not BC related - what a plus, but painful none the less and I am pleased that you are on your way to better health.

We have enough to put up with without all the ‘extra’ side-effects we pick up along the way!
