Got the results of my recent mammo today, nothing to worry about. The letter said everything is fine and I don’t have to see a Consultant this year. I will see one next year as it will be the end of my remission. The letter also said f I have any problems not to hesitate contacting the clinic directly, so I’m thankful to have that as a safety net.
I’m just relieved to be able to get on with things again, it’s like your life kind of stops for a little while when your yearly check comes round again isn’t it?
The worst bit about having Mammos near the end of the year is the wait for results - you wonder whether yu will be enjoying Christmas. I remember Christmas Day 2006 well as I had dinner in my PJs and wasn’t at all well after my third dose of FEC knocked me sideways with fatigue.
