So sorry to hear your news 
I really just wanted to let you know what a great great comfort it was to me to join the woodies…it has made me laugh and made me cry …helped me when I felt weak to feel stronger and gave me strengh to carry on some days when I felt I couldn’t. I just want to send you a great big hug you are a very inpirational lady and I wish you all the very best

I’m another lurker, SCACO, but if having a support group gives you any comfort, than add me to their number. You’ve helped us all so much. Turns out these dammed woods are pretty much all around us most of the time, and the goal is just to get to a clearing and hang out with those you love. You have helped us remember that when we need to, we love you for it.

Sacco. Get hooked up to the juicers in the JM …always worth a try. Beet root and carrot with a touch of gin to help it go down avoid the greasy pastries but go for the lemon drizzle. In moderation what ever you fancy. There is a comfy nest still in the trees rest your shattered body until it feels like getting up and going again.

Hi all,
a quick update from the “woods” SCACO has returned to the hospital in the hope they can sort the terrible discomfort she is experiencing from bowel issues etc. Am sure all of you will continue to send love, prayers & best wishes that her discomfort is sorted quickly & she can return home ASAP.
When SCACO is unable to access this site, all your messages etc are passed on until she can get back on here herself to read/update & knowing the support & love out here for her will truly be helping.

Hi all,
Just to let you know that SCACO is still in hospital while they get her treatment sorted out. As of yesterday she was feeling very slightly better so we’re all hoping that she’s not kept under lock and key for too much longer. Maybe it’s time the Woodies sent in the A Team to bust her out…

I’m up for that Jane, can see the Woodies careering around in a transit van on a rescue mission - or am I muddling the A team up with someone else? I have confused mental images of Scooby Doo’s mystery machine with a bit of the Italian Job “you were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off” thrown in for good measure…

You’re right MG - transit van it is, but I think a combination of the A Team, Scooby Doo and the Italian Job would probably be about right for SCACO!

Can we send in ChoccieMuffin on her new, blue, mean machine? She can rescue SCACO and hoover the wards at the same time, whilst delivering spoons to all in need! Hang in there SCACO, I hope it gets better for you soon. xx
You can use my super duper wheelchair to get her to the van…not problems. I am not supposed to drive just yet but am dying to get back to it so will volunteer to keep the engine running for her …Val with Hugs…
I am going in armed with spoons and string tied round the bottom of my jeans. I can then empty the soil out of my jeans whilst whistleing nonchenantly whilst walking about the woods.
If you are coming in with all guns blazing can you try not to run me over please?

count me in…can’t drive but I’ll push the chair with my good arm if it helps…glad to hear SCACO is feeling a bit better…have been looking out for postings…keep up the good work missus and then you,ll be ready for a rescue party…cue the woodies to the A team theme tune…de de de dur de de dur…M
I’ll distract the nurses by asking for a blood test, hunt the vein should give SCACO enough time to get clear of the ward.
