I was asked in between my lymph node removal and chemotherapy if I wanted to freeze some eggs but was told that it would delay my chemo by 6 weeks and at that point I was so frightened I just wanted to get the chemo into me to fight it. I was 38 at that point and had kind of presumed that I’d get round to kids one day. I was triple negative and had 4 Epi and 4 FEC - my periods stopped during the EPI and I haven’t had any since.
I’m now thinking - maybe I shouldn’t have panicked - is there anyone whose periods have come back or is there any fertility treatments available or should I just get on and enjoy life and get another cat?
