FINALLY HAD REPLACEMENT IMPLANT

Hi Guys
A quick note to let you knowthat I’v finally had my surgery to replace my expander implant with a teardrop. Special thanks to Tracy1961 for responding to my last thread and hope you are recovering well.

I’m a little sore,to be expected, but must take it easy for a few days. Straps are off, just got tapes over wounds now. It really has made me feel so much better now I’v got a near enough even pair. Hopefully when my left uplift settles in a couple of month then I’l finally be able to draw a line under the last 4 years (diag Aug 05) and get on with life to the full.

So glad you’re back home safe and sound!

Isn’t it lovely when you can see light at the end of the tunnel? I am so pleased I have had this done now, though I didn’t feel that way when I woke up from my anaesthetic.

Brilliant!
I’m now on the waiting list to have this done - 5 months.
I am really hoping that the implant will feel softer and more comfortable than this expander.
Let us know how you are getting on with it - might give us some hope :slight_smile:
