Thanks for posting. It is understandable you want to check the correct time for your first post treatment mammogram. This is usually carried out one year from when you had your first surgery. So if you had a single mastectomy in November last year, now would be the right time for your first mammogram. Your own team will confirm the usual procedure for your area.
We offer a range of free supportive services which you may be interested in. Many people find our Forward resources that are for people who have had a diagnosis of primary breast cancer and have come to the end of their main hospital treatment within the last 2 years helpful. The resources include our Moving Forward booklet and Moving Forward courses.
You can attend a Moving Forward as either a face-to-face course or take part by joining online. Find a course near you or register for an online course via the links above or call us on 03457 077 1893.
