Hi, recently had a mastectomy(just over two wks ago) healing nicely but now starting to have a build up of fluid around bust area, The Doc said he wouldn’t drain it off just yet but to wait until it’s uncomfortable or soar, weeping etc.
Anyone else have this? I’m not keen on the feeling and how long(if i don’t see the doctor)do i leave this?

sounds like a seroma.,its a build up of fluid normally drained by your lymph glands,they try to leave the fluid to drain back into your body naturally as to drain it often leaves it open to infection.I had mine drained a few times as it became really uncomfortable.Can last for a good 4-6 weeks,but it will settle.
Speak to your bcn if it gets too bad.
