Follow Up Following Mammogram

Have I got breast cancer? Appointments and waiting for test results

Hi,

I was referred for a mammogram by my GP due to finding 2 lumps in right breast. One under nipple area and one upper right quadrant. I’m 41.
I bad mammogram Friday 23rd at the hospital X-ray dept. I had expected to be seen at the breast clinic. The technician looked at the mammogram and said I would get an appointment for follow up with the breast clinic. I’m confused as there was no indication of why I would need a follow up if nothing was found.
Just looking for some advice/ reasons!
