Her problem is keeping food down at present i blend all that she eats but i am to say the least a poor cook and my food is basic but whole some if any of you ladies has some tips on easy to cook food that can be blended i will be greatful
Dougal bad cook
pop to marks and get some microwave meals they do a great range along with waitrose, sainsbury and tescos as long as you have a microwave you can’t go wrong
good luck

It might be an idea to get your GP/Onc to refer your wife to the dietician at your hospital, they will be able to help you with specialist advice on the correct diet&tips on preparation.
Talking to nurse or dietitian is a really good idea. They can provide/diagnose things like forti-sip and forti-creme which are high in nutrients and easy to eat/drink if things are really difficult. I’m told they are quite pleasant (not like the complan of old…)
When I was beginning chemo my breast nurse said “homemade soups and smoothies” but to be honest you can buy plenty that are just as good and nutritious… all supermarkets sell fresh soup and/or Covent Garden Soup Company. Innocent smoothies are good, and again most shops will have their own too. Tinned custard, tinned rice pud, ice-cream and tined soup are all good too.
Avoid anything too acidic or spicy as neither is kind to delicate tums
I’m sure you wife really appreciates all your endeavours for her and I hope she feels a little better soon.
