Hi everyone, I’ve read quite a few posts on this topic already and I am amazed at the support you offer through the forum.
I found a lump at weekend in my left breast near the top quite central almost feels as if it’s against the chest wall and is about 3cm. It’s hard and doesn’t move and is a little tender although prob due to me pressing it excessively. Ive also got a scaly rash aroubd my nipple which i havent noticed before. I’m due to see my gp at 5pm tonight and will take it from there. I’m so scared. I’m 35yrs old with 3 children and my youngest is 2. I keep trying to be positive and put it out of my mind but then I get overcome with anxiety and start thinking what if. My mums mum died at 45 from cancer when my mum was only 5 and I can’t help thinking about this too. I’ve got private health insurance and if my gp refers me today I’m hoping I can be seen in the one stop breast clinic this week at my nearest private hospital.

Hi Kerry. It’s a scary time and we have all been there. Remember 9 out of 10 woman referred on to breast clinics do not have cancer. Fingers crossed for you. If unfortunately you do join us the woman on here are fantastic. I’m still a newby (diagnosed 29th march). I’m 38 with 3 children and still trying to get my head around it all but the support on here is brilliant. Let us know how you get on, hopefully it will be good news x
