Hey all and hoping you are all as well as can be expected and still smiling.
I was dx last jan aged 28.
Had lumpectomy, chemo, rads and now on Tamoxifen.
About 4 weeks ago I had a very painful nipple on my good boob and quite a hard lump. I squeazed it and pus came out of one of my milk ducts and the lump then went down. I’m assuming this was an infection of some sort. I then found a kidney bean shaped lump under the same nipple. I saw my breast surgeon and mentioned the infection but not the lump. He didn’t feel anything when he gave me a routine examination and I completely forgot to mention it.
Anyway…
Its still there and I have also now found a small hard lump under the same arm pit. The lump in my nipple can only be felt when kind of pinching it. I saw my GP and she agreed there was something there and I should get in touch with the Breast Nurses. I am now awaiting an appointment for next Thursday.
Just wondered how common it is for women to get a new tumour appear so soon after treatment.
Obviously i’m thinking the worse AGAIN and am a tad worried.
