So I’m 30 with 2 young kids. I noticed a dimple in my left breast which I never noticed before. I went straight to gp expecting to be overreacting. Well she noticed straight away and she also ‘felt something’!
I’ve been referred to the breast clinic in a week time but the wait is killing me. She said 9/10 referrals are normal but im guessing that includes every lump and bump referral too?
Has anyone else had a dimple and ‘something felt’? What did it turn out to be?
I’m kinda freaking out if time here! Thanks
Hi ,your GP is right vast majority of referrals to breast clinic turn out to be other breast conditions and not cancer. If you read some of the threads in this section of the site you will see many people reporting back that they had been given the all clear even after the most worrying symptoms .A week can seem like an age when you are anxious ,try and keep busy and hopefully in a weeks time you will breathe a big sigh of relief .Jill.
Hi I’m also 30 and found a lump in my right booby over a week ago now…my clinic app is Thurs 18th Aug and my mind is doing overtime. I did notice a smallish lump about 6 months ago but thought was menstrual related as normal. But when my partner noticed it in bed last week I booked gp app nxt day …my doctor examined me and confirmed the lump which is very tender atm…she told me at my age it should be nothing to worry about but as you know you just can’t help but threat about it. How did your clinic app turn out if you don’t mind me asking?? Hope your well ? sending a hug x
