Hi Ladies,
saw my onc about 4 weeks ago and she was worried about some sysptoms i was displaying so had emergency MRI next day which came back, CT scan next wed but if I fall, get pins and needles in my bottom or down my legs to head straight to A&E. Two weeks before seeing the Onc my GP did a battery of blood test, my red count was up,as was was my glucose and cholestrol so further tests done, glocuse, B12 al ok but cholestrol skig high (8.8). To finally get the point this last 2 weeks have been feeling funny, dizzy spells even when sitting down, funny turns were everything shifs a couple of feet to the right, blacked out when coking the tea and now I think I’m totally losing - have just woken up thinking giant spider on my head, jumped and turned on the light and my wall covered with spiders and i’m screaming and yelling hitting these bl***y things with my slippers. I’m sitting here with my head tingling and now afraid to close my eyes.
I really think I,m going mad - this is so so freaky.
Hi angie5
Not surprised that this is freaking you out. The nearest I’ve had was giant scorpions on ceiling when I had a fever with a really bad chest infection years ago. You didn’t mention what happened with the MRI scan, but why don’t you call your onc or BCN and get some advice? Failing that I would contact my GP - you don’t want to be blacking out again when cooking and hurt yourself.
Good luck & let us know what happens.

I am so sorry you are in such a state right now. Please do call the BCC helpline. But also call your GP and tell them about your physical and mental issues. IT sounds like you imagined the spiders? Do not know how this could be related to bc, but they do, so call them and get some relief !
This is the right place to come to chat about how you are doing, so you sure did the right thing by starting a thread.
Keep us posted…I hope things get alleviated fast for you!

Angie,
Go to A & E and just get things checked out.
Best wishes,
Sue
I spoke to my onc who has ofganised a brain scan same time as CT scan next week and has asked my GP to refer me for an ECG.
I feel quite foolish today - not like me to freak like that but I was absolutely terrified at the time now I think I’ve totally lost the plot and am having a chuckle at me trying to kill spiders that even though I could see them I knew they weren’t real.
