Passport to breast cancer rehabilitation Course
Being diagnosed with breast cancer can be a traumatic experience. The NHS and Breast Cancer Care are working together to provide a rehabiliation programme for people who have had a breast cancer diagnosis.
This four week programme (Mondays 10am - 12:30pm) examines some of the main issues that may affect you and aims to provide information, support and professional guidance on how to cope during and after your treatment.
Week 1 - Lymphoedema and Exercise after surgery
Week 2 - Weight Management and dispelling dietary myths and Complementary therapies
Week 3 - Communication, fatigue and coping strategies
Week 4 - Welfare rights and returning to work
