fulid a long the scar

hi all two weeks today i had my opp. back home after a night stay in hospital… as i haven’t worked for a bit as i was looking after  my late hubby so i really have no one popping in and very flat…

my main think is i an told it is ok and the body will obsorbe the fluid but i have a constant build up of fluid along the scar above abelow it . it ripples and was wondering how i can help this build up … drinking more water maybe …even sleeping differently it seems to be every day … and my drains are out:womanfrustrated:    any help very welcome

HI, after my mastectomy I had to have my fluid drained by the BCN 8 times before my body absorbed it itself.  At times it was so full I thought my breast was growing back.  Are you able to ring your breast nurse? If it gets too uncomfortable it is wise to have it drained.  Sorry you are feeling lonely. Throughout this horrible time I have learnt to try and ask for help. Do you have any work colleages/friends who you could ring and ask them to pop round for coffee? Big Hugs xxxx
