Full of cold and 2nd chemo due?

Hi everyone, just looking for some advice.

My 2nd chemo is due Wednesday and I’m loaded with cold. Just really started today and the chemo unit is closed for the bank holiday.

Can anyone tell me whether or not they’ve had chemo with a cold before? Do you think they’ll delay it for a few days?

Hi

When I had my chemo I was told that a cold in itself wasn’t a problem as long as my temperature was OK. Definately check with your unit tomorrow.

i had a cold on my 4th chemo,they gave me antibiotics to make sure i didnt have an infection,and i still had my chemo xxxx

Thank you for the replies ladies. I’m feeling fine so hopefully can go ahead as planned.

I’ve got to go in for my bloods tomorrow so I’ll give them a call first just to warn them I’ve got the lurgy!
