Did anyone else who’s finished chemo still have an odd-feeling mouth and tongue 4 months later? My tongue still feels like it’s not fully back to normal - though it’s difficult to describe exactly what it does feel like - and I’m beginning to wonder if it’ll ever return to normal. It’s sort of numb, I guess. Mostly, I can ignore it but sometimes it gets me down and I just want at least one thing that was damaged by chemo to heal itself.
Anyone else have this?

You are not alone!! I finished chemo mid Sept. and my mouth still feels “odd”. Tongue feels still too big for my mouth at times and I get the numb feeling aswell. Also got that numb thing in my fingers and toes and thats still with me, so probably all part and parcel of chemo (I had tax by the way).
On the good side, hairs growing, nails are getting better and I feel sooooo much more like me again.

Thanks, Anne. From the lack of response, it looks like this is a fairly rare phenomenon, so it’s good to know there’s at least one person out there who’s the same as me!
