Not sure if Im posting in the right place but here goes … Im one week post po from MX had lymph nodes removed 5 weeks ago. I have a special occasion to go to this weekend. I would love to have gel nails done think I have read best not to have cuticles cut because if risk of infection any advise whether to have them done or not done? Would love just to have a treat.

Probably a little late in reply but I wouldnt if I was you. I had gel nails at the end of my chemo and didnt have my cuticles trimmed as the chemo damaged my nails considerably. I thought I was doing the right thing but when the gel nails started to come off they damaged my already fragile nails further.
