Did anyone else have an extravasation of general anesthetic? It’s 12 hours later and my hand is still painful and swollen with ongoing numbness on the back of the hand. I was discharged with ice packs which I’ve used up and told it would improve but no one said how long that would take? I’ve taken paracetamol and ibuprofen but it is still very painful. It feels better while icing but I have no access to ice.
Try a bag of frozen peas, or the like. It is annoying, but will settle .
