I’ve avoided coming back on the forum as I went through a little bit of denial! But I’m starting my chemo next week (21st Nov) and I’m terrified of all of it, the hair loss, the side effects but most of all the infertility and menopause…my mum had early menopause so it could happen to me…
Not allowed to take any immune system boosting tablets or anything like that so is there anything I should look out for that might work? I heard about the lifemel honey but have been told that it doesn’t really help.

Im starting chemo tomorrow (Epi CMF) and Im feeling the same as you really- pretty anxious. Im wondering if we are maybe about the same age too by your user name (im 28). I cant be much help yet on chemo but you should take a look at the starting chemo on 20th nov thread- there are many ladies in there who have started and its great for support and advice.
im going to ask in the hospital tomorrow about lifemel and manuka honey as I have heard mixed reports
