Well you know I’ve been a long term groupie. Good to meet the 4 of you at Kate’s moving funeral.
Yes I think there is a book in the gobbygang! You have written about your experiences in important diffferent ways…the strength of womens’ friendship networks and support shines through your postings. Yes you have been so raw and true and real.

Good Luck to you all GG…Lyn and I exchanged some emails when she was first diagnosed with mets. I’m the last one alive of my small local gang of 4 and Jenny and I are part of another gang who have lost many…we were, still are, the ‘bolshy bunch…’ we were very bolshy about our diagnosis. Take Care GG…xxx
Good Luck to those left in GG. Lisa & I often ‘popped in’ and read your comments and then this last 10 months since Lisa died I have kept up with you all.
I do understand why you have made this decision though.
Hopefully hear from you on the other threads.

hey GG
before this gets closed, had a flick thru our original thread in archive tonight, think feeling it a bit re what we were at this time last week and usually me and Kate doing the late posts unless Trace on night shift. The first page especially is f in hilarious (mind you only skipped thru about 10) firemen, hilary, fit brit awards and trace being police escorted out of a pub all in page 1. Absolutely Fantastic. So pleased we had all replied to that thread to attend and able to meet up the night before, memories in that pizza restaurant still make me laugh out loud.
I personally feel lucky and privilaged to meet and share that weekend with you all, it was such an emotional mixed experiance that bonded us to be able to support each other thru this crap.
I also want to say thank you to BCC for running their Younger Womans Forums, we wouldn’t have met without them.
Also want to thank all of the GG, you lot helped me thru some very dark patches and I treasure your friendship forever.
