Im going for my second chemotherapy session in the morning. Feeling a bit off. First one didnt go well but they said they will tweak the meds and I should be fine. Just wanted to ask did this happen anyone else.
Hi Ann,
Just wanted to say we are thinking of you and sending love. I am sure someone will be able to share their experience with you soon.
Best wishes,
Chloe
Hi @ann2 , have you thought about joining the May chemo starters group ? You could share experiences and get support from people who are at the same stage with their treatment ? Best of luck tomorrow .
@ann2 we would be happy for you to join the May starters. You can join any group as and when you wish. Its a very free forum. Which is lovely. ![]()
Most of us have read through earlier groups as they are further through their treatments, so we’ve been able to see other ladies progress/pitfalls/successes.
Such a wealth of knowledge in the Forum. Everyone is really kind and compassionate. ![]()
There are 19of us going through different treatments, but side effects are fairly similar. Generally.
Hair loss, lack of appetite, feeling woozy, fatigue, nausea, chemo brain, red cheeks, dry skin.
Some have fainted, had more severe skin reactions, problems with PICCS. But everyone has been well supported. Cared for and encouraged. ![]()

Treatments have been altered, but all of us have survived OK. ![]()
Oncology teams do everything to help us cope.
Its not an easy process at all. But you may find others with similar reactions, or just chat about your own experiences.
If you are going for treatment tomorrow I would just like to give you a shout out from the May Cheerleaders.
Wishing you good vibes love and strength:
You can do this. Sending you virtual hugs, love and strength.

But sleep is good. It lets our bodies rest and get through it. The housework can just wait. ![]()
