Hi, had lumpectomy September 2016, then chemo and radiotherapy, finished end of April 2017. A few weeks ago had a lump in thyroid gland, been diagnosed as goitre(common for my age said hospital and no need for treatment as thyroid s functioning normally) I am 66. Wondered if this has affected anyone else, as read it can be caused by radiation. Any natural treatments to recommend? Thanks.
I cannot help you but I did not want to read and disappear! I know that this is caused by a lack of iodine in the diet but does that mean that you have to take iodine tablets?
In the USA they put iodine in the salt because it was very common at one time.
Thanks, unlikely to be lack of iodine as normal blood tests, and have healthy diet. Am eating watercress and kale!
