Bit of background - original diagnosis in June 07 - spread to bones in Jan 09. So far only one spot. Had a CT yesterday and got my results and all the same. No more spread. Feel very happy to say the least. am on Hercptin every 3 weeks, bondronat every day and Capcetabine.

Delighted that you had good results. I’m in the same position - one bone met, although I have a couple worrying areas of pain at the moment, so maybe it’s on the move. I am curious as to why it was a CT scan rather than bone scan - had you already had a bone scan or is the CT scan considered better?

Not sure why CT - perhaps its to check if its gone into organs such as lungs or liver. Have never asked!
