Good Luck Eileen
Good Luck Eileen Hello Eileen
Good luck with your rads planning. Mine was fine and nothing at all to worry about.
I’ve started rads now. Today was No. 4 and it’s going well.
Take care

Thanks Anthi feel a bit apprehensive but it’s got to be done. Glad things are going well for you. Hoe are you in yourself? I still tired, scaley, and bald. Not spending best part of the day in bed now though which is good. Take care Eileen
Hello again Eileen.
Sorry to hear that you’re still tired - I think chemo takes quite a long time to get out of the system.
I’m fine on the whole thank you. I’m having to get up each day for rads which is a bit of a shock to the system after the last few months of staying in bed half the day.
The daily journey to and from rads is boring and tiring but I’m not doing the driving myself. The rads hospital is about 45 minutes away and I’m using a local volunteer organisation to get me there some days and kind friends and neighbours on other days. The staff at the rads hospital are extremely professional and efficient and very very nice and it’s also nice meeting other people in the waiting room and comparing notes.
I had my first Herceptin last week - the only side effects so far are a slightly runny and bloody nose (like Taxotere but not so bad) and stiff muscles and joints in my legs.
I’ve got several patches of white bristly hair on my head but not all over it - there are still several places which are completely bald. Let’s hope that we can get rid of the scarves, wigs and hats before the really hot weather starts.
Take care
Love Anthi
