Just had some good news! had my scan results and my tumours in my lungs have stopped growing and the one on my spine is showing a lot of healing!!! I am so pleased and relieved.
A funny moment tho - my oncologist said ‘oh how you getting on with ibandronate? - any indigestion problems???’ I said oh no not really its been great, well apart from last night and she looked concerned, and i said although thinking about it, it probably had something to do with the curry and several glasses of whisky id consumed!!! and she said ‘er yes, that is likely’!! it made me chuckle!!! (was a girls curry night out - to take my mind off todays results!)
thats great, I had something similar today as well , good scan results showing continued improvement from taxotere 3 to 6 and bones are getting better again with zometa …its good to get good news!!
That’s great news, I have had 2 taxotere out of 6 so still have to get another one before they have a look to see how it’s going, I must say that makes me feel very nervous but hey I know we’re all in the same boat on this site! One thing I can count on is getting the support I need either way.
Thats great news. I am sooooooooo pleased for you and nice to hear you had a good night out. My results today were good that mets not on brain but they are still deciding about rads to skull as mets putting pressure on brain. Thought they were deciding today but have said they need to speak to another doctor first.
