Might be of interest to anyone in Bucks/Northants/Beds.
I went to a meeting of a new BC support group last night, held in “at Ruby’s”, a lingerie shop in Olney, Bucks - I live in the next village. I had a lovely time and whilst we were there the two ladies who run the shop were chatting and giving people fittings (no obligation to buy thank goodness as I’m totally skint till payday). They were really nice, very down to earth and really know their bras!
They’ve been disappointed with mastectomy bras in the past so are in the process of hunting out the nicest ones they can find. They also have a lady who will sew pockets into any suitable off-the-shelf bra (and trust me, they have some really gorgeous ones there!).
I’m sure they’d be worth a visit if you’re in the area.
They also sell some swimwear - I bought a bikini from them a few years ago (I think my bikini days are over now, sadly).
