Hi All
I noticed a few weeks ago a “rash” on my abdomen under my reconstructed breast and between my breasts. I did wonder if it was just my bra causing this but these last couple of days I have noticed 3 more small patches on the other side of my abdomen. Alarm bells are ringing and starting to get worried. I have an appointment next week with the surgeon so will get him to look.
I also have 2 whitish raised “spots” which have appeared on my neck and are very noticeable to the point people have remarked on them and of course I am worried what they are too.
Any ideas or am I just being paranoid. I had my op 2and half years ago.

|Not sure if I can help hun but being an IBC lady I wanted to allay some of your fears if possible.
Have you changed your soap powder or used a different body spray recently? Very basic ideas I know but important to draw a line through. The other thoughts I have are sweat rash (sorry not very ladylike I know) or indeed a fungal type infection.
As your appt with surgeon is not until next week I would take myself off to the GP tonight, possibly he can prescribe a cream or antibiotic to try to clear it. If it’s still there next week after a course of antib’s at least you will have ruled these things out.

Thanks Mabel. Not changed any soap power etc at all. I have put some steroid cream on intermittently which hasn’t made any difference. I have had it a few weeks so will wait until next week but after finding the other 3 small patches I was starting to get worried !
I really did think the one under my boob was my bra, which it could be, but not sure about the others.
