Granular Lump/Thicknening what does that mean ?

:smileyhappy:Well finally made it to my GP today who examined me, he said he thought it was granular lump and thickening and there was no palaple mass  present, Im not sure what all that means, has anyone else been told this??? as Ive never heard of it, never the less he is referring me to the breast  clinic to reassure me which is really good of him and told me he thought it was nothing to loose any sleep over,

Breast cancer does not always show up as a lump you can feel. Some types of breast cancer can present as a change in the size of your breast or a part of your breast feels a little thicker/less soft than before. Hopefully it will be nothing but better to have it checked out anyway. My fingers are crossed it will be ok.Pansy50
