Great place for support

Hi, only just found this forum but what a useful resource and support.
I wentvto my GP at the end of February with a pea sided lump in my left breast after being referred to breadt care and having all the different tests and scans they diagnosed me with bilateral breast cancer (neither showed up on a mammogram so thank goodness i found that first lump and had an mri which showed the right sided cancer) had a bilateral therapeutic mammoplasty 3 weeks ago and recovering well, just waiting for results to see if margins are clear or if more surgery (mastectomy) is needed before i progress to chemo and radiotherapy.
Had a physio appointment and she has advised that i start massaging my armpit with oil or cream daily to help drain seroma that has formed following removal of lymph nodes. Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good oil or cream to use. Thank you

Not thought about rhat, I’ll have a look at it, thanks

The bottle lasts ages. It is 2 years since my surgery and I can barely see my scars. I still use bio oil if I feel scars are a bit annoying x

Bilateral mastectomy here and I have been using Neal’s Yard rose hip oil. It was recommended by my scar therapist and it has been amazing. Only need a small amount.

Not heard of that, I’ll have a look at it thanks
