Grey Hair Hi

I was dx in March and had my last chemo on the 21st September, because my second chemo was CMF my hair has been growing in since June.

Unfortunately it is more grey than brown, I am 37 and desperate to have it coloured, I have read that Aveda can be used because it is 97% organic or possibly Henna.

Can anybody tell be why we are told not to use normal dyes for 6 months and has anybody used the above products before six months and has it worked fine. I;'ve read on this site that Henna doesn’t really covering the grey and if that’s the case there is no point!

I think we cant use normal dyes because of the chemicals in them and the fact that our hair is weak from chemo.

I used an organic dye from Holland and Barratt after 3 months of stoping chemo and it covered all my grey hair. I’ve had no trouble with my hair at all, its quite soft but very curly!
