Just thouight i’d let you know I had my WLE done yesterday - not as bad as i thought and sent home with some nice strong pain killers! Very sore under my arm but definately not as bad as I’d expected. I get my results next Tuesday so just waiting now…

Very good to hear that it was better than you thought. I had a WLE and SNLB in early June and was tired and sore after but it was ok apart from that - hopefully it’ll be the same for you.

Hi there, I am new here but we seem to be at the same stage. I had my WLE and SNB on 30th July and go back for my results on 10th Aug. I have been surprised with how good I have felt and have actually really enjoyed my recovery week, have had a relaxing time with my husband and children. Am starting to get really worried now about the results though just want Tues to get here so I can find out what is ahead of me!

Good that you’re feeling a bit better. I agree I’m getting nervous about Tuesday as well!! Hopefully we’ll both get better news than we’re expecting. What have you been told up to now? Lx

hello everyone had my op on monday not half has bad has i thought , get my results on mon 23 aug so im not going to think about it too much just going to enjoy the next few days with my family and hopefully everything will be fine . Good luck to all of you who are also awaiting results xxxxx

Had my mastectomy last friday, stayed in hospital for a full week, as the drain fliud was high. Got my results this thursday,been very tearful today just want to know what the next step of my journey will be xx Good luck to everyone waiting for results xx

So good to hear such positive comments from everyone. Am due for surgery on 20th, getting bit nervous, but the posts help me.

I am having my op on the 28th,a bit anxious. I feel better after reading all these entries and wishes. I am having a radical masx with removal of lymph nodes as well. Good wishes to everyone and remember one step at a time.

I had mx y/day and lymph clearance very sore and bruised came home with 2 drains have them outn sunday realy pleased with myself feel like im coming to an end of my worst nightmare had chemo for 6months first its all gud now only rads left
