Can anyone offer advice.Having recently had wle have just been to see oncologist who,despite three lymph nodes being clear,has advised FEC chemo before radiotherapy.The tumour is only moderateley oestrogen sensitive. I am going to try to use the scalp cooler,as losing my hair is my biggest worry.I know i will not be able to have my hair coloured as usual, which is to hide the grey,but does anyone know if i can use chemical free colours , for example,henna. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi Viszla there is a thread about the cold cap.Not sure that there is any advice about keeping hair and hoping to colour it too. I did keep my hair using the cold cap but have a lot of ‘silver’ anyway. Good Luck J xx

I am currently using the cold cap but it is too early to say whether it will be sucessful or not. However, I was advised to do as little as possible to my hair - gently comb it once a day, not to use a hairdryer and only wash it once a week using a PH neutral shampoo. I therefore doubt colouring it would be a good idea but hopefully you will get replies from others who can help.
Anyway, good luck with your treatment and I hope the cold cap works for you.
