Hi how long do you have to wait to dye your hair after chemo ? I think it’s six month but wondering if anyone has done it sooner and what was your hair like ? Mines really short feel like I need a colour on. 
Hi I did mine not Long after chemo.nothing happened to me or my hair…you could have a tint maybe to start…sharon.
Thanks Sharon my hairs like a short wavy mess I need to try and do something I was worried if I put a colour on it would fall out. Hope your getting sorted and put on some new medication soon
Somewhere on the threads there was a website for hair mousses for chemo patients and I can’t remember it …think it was Daniel something …it was specially produced for people just growing hair after chemo.
Maybe someone else can remember it.

Thanks helen I’ve been a right wimp I’ve had no hair for that long now it’s came through I’m scared to do anything incase it falls out again but I’m going to make an appointment and get it sorted out x x x

I used those little sachets of “hint of a tint” for a few months after chemo but don’t know whether they still sell them !!
I think gentle must be the key as you are on leyrozole now and that weakens the hair too.
At least you have some hair back after a long time without so enjoy it regardless of what its like !!

Seem to recall henna is better for our hair, but it would need to be very dilute

Hi the hair dye wasn’t very good it was a powder in a box you had to mix it then leave it overnight or eight hours then put it on your hair and leave it for two and a half hours. The hair dye stunk and wasn’t a very good colour it might be ok for you but I found it a pain went to chemist and bought a one to put over top lol x x x
