Have any ladies been to see a hair loss specialist. If you have would very much appreciate your feed back. Considering going to see one but will it work or at least help
Hi - I’m not sure if you are talking about hair loss connected with chemo/cancer treatment or another type of hair loss?
I lost all my hair because of chemo a few years ago. It grew back but is visibly thinning now (I’m on letrozole). I consulted a trichologist recently which I found ineresting and useful. PM me if you’d like more details.

Worth checking in advance that the trichologist is experienced in dealing with chemo hair loss. I went back (privately) to the person to whom I was previously referred for my NHS wig. I was given some good advice about making the most of my remaning hair and possible strategies for disguising the thin areas. Most of all it helped me to feel at least I was taking some control over one aspect of cancer treatment - and, let’s face it, there’s plenty we don’t have any control over. I paid £56 and was there a couple of hours.
