i finished chemo/radio in dec and my hair on my head is growing back quickly, as is the hair on my legs!!, however i have noticed a shadow of fine blond hair on my face (just at the side of my face and very fine hair) has anyone else experienced it as now i have noticed it i am very conscious of it. i am reluctant to wax in case it grows back thicker and dark!
Hi… leave alone! It’s more normal than not to get this towards the end of or just after chemo. It’s like lanugo (hair that newborns are often covered in). Usually disappears between 1 and 6 months after chemo finishes. I finished last Sept and mine’s just about, but not completely, gone now. Makes wearing make up a bit tricky! Hang on in there xxx
fluffy face seems to be a common phenomenon post chemo… not sure whether its just more noticable when we have less hair on our head or whether it is more downy at first however it does settle down after a few weeks and isnt so obvious.

thanks all, i will leave well alone, i was just concernced asi am not taking tamoxifen so its not through medication.
