Hi…I have been taking Arimidex since February and have noticed my hair is greasier and seems thinner than normal (never had thick hair).Has anyone else who’s taking Arimidex noticed a change in their hair texture and if so is their anything can be done about it.
I was switched to Arimidex in April, having been on Tamoxifen for 18 months.
During that period I noticed that my hair AND nails thinned (they are connected). Because I had intolerable side effects on Arimidex (aches and pains - which were far worse than on Tamoxifen - and feeling “spaced out” all of the time), I was switched back to Tamoxifen in July, since which time my hair and nails have gone back to normal.
