I finished chemo (EC + Taxol) in July and been recovering well since but now all of a sudden I’ve got hand-foot syndrome caused more than likely by Taxol. I had burning hand rash while on Taxol but this is much worse as I can hardly use my hands which are now covered in blisters.
Any tips how to manage this apart from cooling down and normal painkillers? I’m going back to chemo unit tomorrow and they might prescribe some cream(s) - any recommendations as to waht to ask for? thanks
