Dear fellow secondaries,
It seems to have been a harsh year of late on this site, with the loss of many. In the light of that it seems a bit incongrous to say ‘happy christmas’, but i cannot think of one of those women that we have lost this year that would wish us anything more than to keep living and enjoy the best of times.
I raise a glass to you all past and present

Thanks for posting that Celeste. I had wanted to say something as I feel the sense of sadness and shock of so many recent deaths is palpable on the site but you’re so right that the wonderful women we’ve lost would want us to keep hoping for a future and to keep as strong and happy as we can.
Happy Christmas to all on the site and wishing each one of us for hope,love and strength in 2010.
I am so grateful for all the support and friendship I get from this site and will not forget those who are no longer with us.
