Has anyone elses other boob grown after mastectomy

Hi

Something weird is going on with my boob!!! I had a mastectomy 6 weeks ago and got my prosthesis last week, its massive, looks more like a bum cheek than a boob lol.

Anyway, I got measured and I am measuring a 38E, I was 38C before the op. I have not put on any weight but I had noticed that my 38C bras were not fitting as well as they used to!

Has anyone else experienced this or am I a weirdo!!!

I am also finding wearing the prosthesis hard work, I get really uncomfy like the bra is digging in my ribs when I sit down, I went back to the bra shop yest to see if I had the wrong size but they said it was fine and probably just healing but it is digging in my ribs onthe other side and is so uncomfy. I am due back to work in a week and can’t imagine wearing it for a full day.

I mast in Jan and was given a comfy by the hosp which I wore quite a lot until I was really well healed, didnt get my prosesthis until about Mar. Maybe you need to go back to your comfy for a while? Or could you alternate between the 2. I remember another lady on here saying she bought vest tops and fitted the prosethsis into them.
