only treatment is a mastectomy there is a four week wait for op is this normal and i am in pain ?
I am sorry to hear of your diagnosis amd that you are in pain - have you spoken to your surgeon about the discomfort you are in? I can’t comment on the 4 week wait - things vary depending on where you are in the country. These early days of diagnosis were the worst for me - things do improve. All the best.

So sorry to hear you are in pain. You could trying ringing th help line here, who may be able to advise.
I think waiting lists vary, but if it’s very urgent an operations is usually set up very quickly.

After my lumpectomy I needed a mastectomy but only had to wait three weeks and during that time had infection so was in a lot of pain too, The breast was out of shape, very red and painful in a bra. Took to wearing sports bra and gp gave me antibiotics that wouldnt do any harm to operation. They certainly helped me the last week or so.
Do go to gp and see what they say.
