I don’t post much on hear but find the advice given a god send
Here’s my story
1 st primary 2 years 2 months ago chemo, mx, rads & tamoxifen
2nd primary in other breast diagnosed 4 weeks ago, had mx 2 weeks ago and doing ok
Saw surgeon last thurs who was happy with op, grade 3, oestrogen pos, her neg,
Results of bone scan clear, ct scan showed tiny area on spine prob a benign cyst, plan see onc today but chemo, rads and an anti oestrogen. Spent the weekend getting head round chemo again, even had my hair cut short, prepared the kids, cancelled Med cruise in august
Had appointment with onc this morning. She has studied my scan reports and is not sure what the small area is and wants a second and third opinion from a radiologist.
She doesn’t think she will be giving me chemo, but has started me on zoladex which I had today.
She thinks radio th chest, neck and underarm and to spine, oopherectomy, bone strengthened
I am now in panic mode!!!
Why no chemo, does anyone know?? Anyone else had similar
