Has anyone bought a heat resistant wig from wigstoreuk ? They’re under £50 which seems v reasonable
I did and I’m really pleased with it! It’s not the one in my profile photo which is my ‘posh’ special occasion one, it’s a neat short bob and set me back a bargain price of 40 quid.

How is it with boiling kettles and can you really use straighteners/hair dryer on it? xx
It’s fine with cooking - no frizzing even after opening the oven door. I’ve used a hair dryer on it when I got soaked yesterday with no problems but I can’t answer for straighteners as it doesn’t actually need them. Most wigs made of any type of synthetic hair filament aren’t really up to the kind of temperatures generated by straighteners so I’d check with them first before buying.
One thing I would recommend is to buy some spray on wig lustre as it really helps with the general condition and makes it easier to blow dry when necessary. I usually spray a small amount on once a week or so.
